Hello!

I am Apoorva, a 25-year-old writer, illustrator, and graphic designer, exploring the personal in the political through experimental writing and artwork.

I completed my Master's degree in the History and Philosophy of Art from the Paris School of Art and Culture, University of Kent, and my undergraduate degree in English Literature from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. I took to an interest in literature, history and culture, and artistic creation, early on in my school days, that has by now transformed into a peculiar patchwork of a passion.

In my work, I employ a vernacular appeal to portray socio-political realities as perceived by the individual. Some days it's poetry and short fiction, other days it's quirky digital prints; I find comfort in experimental expression and wish to grow to incorporate newer forms of art in my work.

I am a queer, intersectional feminist, who replaces water with Coke, trips on her own feet, and is most definitely an undercover witch. I love fashion, puppies, and hoarding photographs, and have a diploma in the art of using humour as a defence mechanism.
